Terms of Service
Effective September 1, 2026
Platform role
GroupMeat provides tools for discovery, group organization, reservations, provider verification status, and communications. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, GroupMeat is not the seller, supplier, processor, transporter, payment processor, or owner of products listed by users.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for activity under your account and must promptly report suspected unauthorized access. Roles are cumulative, but users may perform only services they are legally eligible and approved to provide.
Suppliers, processors, and verification
Badges describe the limited scope of information GroupMeat reviewed; they are not guarantees of safety, quality, legal compliance, availability, or future performance. Farm/Ranch Supplier status does not authorize processing. Providers must maintain applicable licenses, inspections, exemptions, labeling, food-safety practices, and truthful profile information.
Group purchases and payments
Offer terms, quantities, pickup, refunds, substitutions, processing, and disputes are primarily between the applicable buyer, organizer, supplier, and processor. GroupMeat does not hold meat payments in Version 1. Buyers must verify recipient details before paying and use the reservation reference supplied by the platform.
Acceptable use
You may not misrepresent credentials, redirect payments without approval, offer prohibited products or services, evade applicable inspection or food-sale requirements, harass users, scrape the service, interfere with security, or use GroupMeat for unlawful or deceptive activity.
Content and moderation
You retain responsibility for content you submit and grant GroupMeat permission to host, format, and display it to operate and promote the service. GroupMeat may review, restrict, suspend, or remove accounts, profiles, drops, or content to address safety, fraud, legal, or policy concerns.
Disclaimers and limitation
The pilot service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, GroupMeat disclaims implied warranties and is not responsible for independent users’ products, processing, payments, pickup, conduct, or regulatory compliance. Applicable consumer rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will post the effective date. Questions may be sent to support@groupmeat.com.
These pilot terms require review by qualified counsel before a broad commercial launch.
